Kirklees, Calderdale and Wakefield Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre (KCRASAC), provides a specialist Independent Sexual Violence Advisor Service, Counselling, Helpline, Emotional Support Work, Group Work, Training & Volunteering Opportunities.
KCRASAC first opened in 1989. Since then the charity has grown and evolved around the needs of our service users. We aim to provide a holistic range of support for all genders of survivors of Sexual and Domestic Violence aged 5 and over.
A CHISVA (Children's Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) is an independent worker providing practical and emotional support to survivors aged 5 and up who have experienced rape, sexual abuse or sexual exploitation at any time during their life. They provide emotional and practical support and liaise between the police, courts and other agencies, acting as an advocate for the survivor.

The CHISVA will join RASAC on an initial probationary period of six months. During this period work performance and general suitability is assessed and when satisfactory, your employment will continue.
