Growing Great Places: Community Crowdfunding Workshops

Advice and support on running your crowdfunding campaign with up to £5k available from Kirklees Council

Growing Great Places is a new community crowdfunding programme to support citizens and organisations who have great ideas for making our local places even better. As part of this programme Kirklees Council is running two free community workshops in late January and early February.

They're also providing extra support to citizens and organisations, to help you get great ideas off the ground in our local places. Along with the workshops and tailored project support, there is a fund of £50,000 available. Successful projects can potentially receive a pledge of up to £5,000 from Kirklees Council to support their campaign.

Come to one of the free workshops to:

  • Learn about the programme and how you can get involved
  • Hear about the funding available and the process to apply
  • Learn about what makes a great crowdfunding project
  • Get tips and advice on running a successful crowdfunding campaign
