Brian Jackson College are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as Nurture Manager & Wellbeing Manager. The role is to support, develop and implement interventions to improve pupil’s overall wellbeing and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) and to contribute to an effective and efficient safeguarding team ensuring the safety and wellbeing of pupils and their families.

The successful candidate will oversee the SEMH needs of pupils, working closely with families to develop strong relationships between home and school and be responsible for signposting young people and their families to relevant support services.
As Nurture Manager you will have deputy designated safeguarding lead responsibilities, proactively ensuring the effective implementation of Child Protection and other related policies whilst working alongside the safeguarding team to ensure the safeguarding needs of the young people and their families are met following statuary guidelines.
The successful candidate will also have line management responsibilities for Key Workers and contribute to the development of timetabling and adjustments for those pupils with EHCP’s. The successful candidate will contribute to Educational Psychologist consultations and manage staff consultations to support the development of strategies when working with specified pupils.
As Nurture Manager you will work alongside the Inclusion Manager to facilitate the re-integration of pupils and to support the implementation and modification of the school’s behaviour policy, taking lead responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of Boxall profiling and any assessments which assist in the development of plans/targets for pupils.
Working together with a coordinated team you will be providing pupils with an opportunity to develop personally, academically, and emotionally to allow our young people to achieve their full potential.
